It seems a bit arsey to be doing a "Best Of" collection when in reality I'm only a semi pro musician but....There was so much material I had written & recorded with Iain and Andy in The Shine, Neil and Andy in Phoenix and solo rough demos that I wanted to refer back to - so I compiled them all here as a reference point.These are a selection of tracks that I am particularly proud of but didn't want to rewrite and re-record as new material. They stand up fine in their own right - and actually demonstrate a progression from old 4 track tape portastudios to full studio production.
